You don’t have to be an artist to create great pottery or glass. Just Kiln' Time has tons of items to choose from to paint or design, & our friendly staff can help you design your masterpiece or help parents with little hands or footprints to create special memories. At Just Kiln' Time our goal is to offer each guest a fun, relaxing environment where you can create special memories that will last a lifetime. What a great time! Carol was fantastic! As a gift to my sisters, I got them gift certificates to JKT. Since you can bring your own beverages, we made it a grown-up night out without the kids. Carol greeted us, explained the basics, and gave us a bunch of tips and advice. She was so accommodating and made it fun. It was all around a great time and a nice relaxing distraction. A week later when it was time to pick up our fired items, Carol remember exactly what 6 pieces we painted by memory.

Did you know Just Kiln' Time does field trips!? Today we had their lovely staff come visit us at Goodrich Elementary in Milwaukee for ornament painting. Best part was...they came to US! No busses to worry about in this freezing cold weather. The kids had a blast and the staff was amazing. HIGHLY recommend! We can't wait to book our next visit for the spring! :)

Why join our team? At Just Kiln' Time "Paint Your Own Pottery & Glass Fusing Studio" we have have a fun time work! We love to create and work hand in hand with each of our customers, but the best part is making life long memories! At Just Kiln' Time we host birthday parties, bridal/baby showers, camps, field trips, and a whole lot more. Looking for a friendly, outgoing, patient, super fun, talkative, and positive individual who work well with both kids and adults. Great customer service skills are a MUST and you must be a team player that is able to work days, nights & weekends on a weekly basis, and days when kids are off from school for break are a plus. Shifts can range from 4- 8 hours per day depending on busy seasons!
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include:
- Customer service (interacting with both kids and adults)
- Attending to them while they are in the studio and helping them with any questions they may have.
- Answer phones, book parties, ring up sales, wrap up masterpieces, process pottery, unpack stock, and re-stock shelves
- Painting displays
- Cleaning studio (mop, sweep, organize, take out the trash, resetting tables
- Leading and assisting birthday parties and other events (adult and child).
- Must be fast-paced and have lots of energy.
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Able to multitask and be pro-active, can work without supervision
- Prompt and Dependable
- Must be comfortable giving paint demonstrations (both small and large groups)
- Having a reliable mode of transportation is a must!
Art interest, ability, or experience would be helpful but is not required. Experience with children and Strong customer service skills are a MUST. Must be able to start ASAP and have a flexible schedule. Please email me a copy of your resume to via email.
